Weekly Update April 29th- May 3rd
Hello 5th Grade Families!
My name is Mrs. Vaughan and I am so excited for the new school year! My goal this year is to prepare my students for middle school and the real world through teaching executive functions and critical thinking skills. I received my Teaching Credential and Masters in Literacy and Language Arts at Loyola Marymount University. This is my 6th year teaching and my 3rd year at THE!
A little about me...
I got married this summer! We are huge sports fans, so we had to have a puck drop to start our ceremony.
I am a Mustang Soccer coach! I coach a 2002 Girls Elite team.
I love animals! I rescued a puppy this summer named Mina and I love riding my horse, Ten, when I have free time!
Unfortunately, I have a corn allergy. The only reason why I share this is because parents and students are so generous! I don't want families to waste their hard earned money on something that I cannot have. Corn syrup is in everything; it is so hard!
I can't wait to meet the new All-Stars! Enjoy the end of summer and I will see you on Monday!
