FOUNDATION AND PTA

The Tassajara Hills Foundation and our school PTA work hard to fund many of our school programs.  Did you know they raise approximately $560 per student for our school site?  Thanks to all the parents and friends of Tassajara Hills that help raise funds and coordinate events as a part of these amazing groups.  For more information about the T.H.E. Foundation or the PTA check our school homepage for links.

About Mrs. Andrews

I am a native of New Jersey and attended Rutgers University, receiving a BA degree in economics.  My husband and I moved to Pleasanton over 30 years ago.  We have two daughters; one just starting teaching at a middle school in Hayward and the other daughter has just graduated from UC Davis.  We also have two dogs; collies named Sophie and Sam. I began teaching as a substitute 17 years ago.  I attended Cal State East Bay for my teaching credential. As a full time teacher, I have taught kindergarten, first, third, and fifth grades.  I truly love teaching and I am very excited to be teaching at Tassajara Hills Elementary.  I have found teaching third grade to be a wonderful grade that is both enjoyable and rewarding. This is my eighth year of teaching 3rd grade.

Mrs. Andrews

Welcome back from Thanksgiving Break.  Please note this website now has updated information for scheduled field trip dates. Please keep in mind you need to be volunteer cleared and driver cleared to help as a driver on field trips. Keeping your insurance info current on Be-A-Mentor is key.  Many thanks to all of our field trip and classroom helper volunteers.  I really appreciate your support. For classroom helpers, I will have a new Sign-Up Genius out for the Jan to May dates, once we get closer to the Winter Break.
