About Us
This California Gold Ribbon School is located approximately 45 miles east of San Francisco in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, serving approximately 500 students. Tassajara Hills is a school where your children will be welcomed with open arms. We pride ourselves on high academic performance, coupled with supporting students' social and emotional development. Your children will be well cared for by our highly trained, caring, and committed staff.
Our California Gold Ribbon award recognizes our commitment to ensure all students learn at high levels. Students experience a well-rounded curriculum with a strong focus on core academic skills. In addition we have have a strong visual and performing arts program where all students perform annually in grade level musical performances. This program, along with our strong reading, library, and technology program are co-funded by district funds and voluntary donations. The partnership between home and school is invaluable and our Foundation and PTA lead the way. Generous family contributions and successful fundraisers augment our academic programs and provide teachers and students with the tools they need to achieve at high levels.
